Data collection involves gaining a better understanding of current company environments and operational systems. In this phase we coordinate workshops and interviews with key stakeholders, all-office surveys, visual observation of existing offices, and inventory of furniture and spatial elements.
We provide general consultancy services for location searching and technical evaluations of potential building or lease sites. These services include site neighborhood suggestions based on need parameters, location analysis including local site regulations, information on building systems efficiency for existing sites, and area calculations to determine suitability considering future growth.
Data sets of existing conditions are analyzed to produce a map for change. We are especially looking for opportunities to provide more flexibility in the operational and spatial environment, economies of real-estate; how we can increase productivity through less space per individual, and ways to improve employee satisfaction and stimulate a positive work culture.
Findings in data analysis are applied to the built environment in this phase. Scope can vary widely per project but usually includes a brand integration strategy, technical office features, a definition of program requirements and test-fit plans to ensure the site size is appropriate.
